Description: Wire rope electric hoists from 0.5 to 50 tonnes capacity and maximum height of lift of 20 1 mtr are available in accordance with Class I, II, III and IV heavy-duty specs fication confirming to IS: 3938-1983. The hoists offer foolproof electro mechanical brakes operating on conical rotor motor principle. These brakes are far superior to electro hydraulic thruster brakes. All hoists have high torque, crane duty, 40% CDF, Class F insulated conical motors suitable for 150 starts hour. Brakes are provided in hoisting as well as cross traversing motion. These are available in four basic arrangements like fixed mounted type, push pull trolley type, hand operated trolley type and motor driver trolley type. Hoists are also manufactured to suit special applications like outdoor location, hoist with drivers cabin, twin hoist for exceptionally high height of lift or high hoisting speeds. Each hoist can be supplied with micro speed attachment in hoisting motion as well as cross traversing motion to reduce the original speed to 15% or 10%. Each hoist is supplied with control panel, consisting of motorcontractors, single phase preventors with overload relays, transformers, fuses as well as pendant push button station for operation.
