Horizontal Spindle Rotary Table Surface Grinder
Description: Horizontal Spindle Rotary Table Surface Grinder has a well-designed base made of conditioned close grain casting to prevent vibration and distortions. The guideways are made of turcite (bronze Teflon), are hand scraped to match corresponding surfaces of table slides. The rigid wheel head spindle is made of hardened and ground alloy steel housed in white metal adjustable type bush bearing. The oil holes are provided for lubrication of bearing surfaces. On the hydraulic traverse system, the wheel head reciprocates hydraulically on a precision scraped guideways. The reciprocating speed is adjustable by hydraulic valve (hydraulic motor of 1 HP). The diameter of the grinding wheel is 300 mm, and its width and bore size is 25 mm and 76.2 mm respectively. For rotary table, spindle is housed with precision adjustable bronze bush bearing with 2 speed motor. The power is transmitted by worm and worm gear. A generous coolant supply increases the cutting rate and improves the grinding finish. This grinder has an electric pump fitted on a separate tank of 50-litre capacity that comes with a 0.15 HP motor.
