This sensor has been developed to help users measure a wider range of environments. The sensor features high accuracy, excellent long-term stability, and negligible hysterisis. It is insensitive to dust and most chemicals. This is the same sensor used in our industrial humidity transmitters. When it's time to take a measurement, you just slide the extendable probe out. The measurement takes only a few seconds. The HOLD function lets you retain a measurement value until it has been noted or recorded. The automatic Power-Off feature prevents the possibility of accidental discharge of the battery. If no measurements are being made, the unit switches itself off after about 3 min. After the measurement is over, you slide the probe back into the meter casing. Between spot checks the meter is normally stored in its holster.
