Indexing Cylinder, Delta 0
The indexing cylinder, Delta 0 is a new product launched by Worner GmbH. The cylinder comes without sensor, with an inductive sensor and an electronic sensor. It has a maximum back pressure, where the lowering force of the lowering piston at 6 bar is approximately 150 N. The maximum back pressure is dependent on the friction generated between the pallet holder and conveyor system, friction between the pallet holder and stopper, the position of the pallet holder stopper and the environmental conditions (dusty environment and lots of pneumatic consumers in service). Back pressure: after the pallet holder comes to standstill, other pallet holders may still move up to the pallet that has already stopped. It has an inductive sensor, where the stopper is prepared for the mounting of two clamping brackets with an M16 x 1 external thread. The upper and lower position of the stopper can be sensed. The electronic sensor in the Delta 0 has two T-slots integrated into its housing for various electronic switches. These switches can be used to sense the upper or lower position of the stopper. Maintenance work: maintenance work is not required on stoppers and separators made by the Worner company. Care must be taken to ensure that the compressed air is treated. The area surrounding the stopper must be clean and free from shavings, to ensure that the pallet holder is correctly positioned.
