Description: Laboratory Spray Dryer is a self contained, compact unit that can be kept on a table top or bench. The solution or the suspension is transformed to powder in a single operation. The unit can be used to establish new products/process as the quantity of sample required is small only 50 to 100ml. Laboratory Spray Dryer can be used for various application like bio-chemicals, ceramics, flavors, foodstuff, tanning agents, and inorganic & organic chemicals. The principle behind the dryer is very simple. The peristaltic pump delivers liquid from the sample container to the 2 fluid nozzles mounted on the drying chamber. The compressed air from the inbuilt compressor is also supplied to the nozzle, resulting in atomization of the liquid into a fine spray. The dryers comprise of the blower, electrical air heater, air compressor and the pump placed in a stainless steel panel with free and easy access. The dryer has ease of operation. The inlet air temperature is precisely controlled by the inlet temperature PID controllers. The general specification include the following - evaporation rate of water at inlet temperature of 250ºC is 1500ml/hr approx.; air inlet temperature ranges up to 250ºC; heat capacity is 3Kwh; spray system is 2 fluid nozzle; spray air flow- downward co-current/upward counter co-current; power supply is 230V-50Hz. 15 Amps; and standard dimension of the dryer is 700x600x450mm in term of height, width and depth respectively.
