MX Oval Gear Flow Meters: are Industrial Grade Positive Displacement Flow Meter devices. Our MX Meters provide true volumetric measurement of liquid thru the meter is not of scale, but actual flow measurement. MX Meter bodies are machined of solid billet, our Rotor shafts are hardened alloy and our Rotor design is unmatched for accuracy and reliability. Our MX PD Meters are for clean fluids, only no gases or solids-laden liquids.
MT Industrial Grade Turbine Flow Meters: Our MT Meters utilize decades of proven cost-effective technology. Additionally, each meter is machined from solid 316 Stainless Steel Billet for reliable industrial performance. Our flow meters are for clean process fluids only and do not measure gases. Fluids with solids that can not be removed upstream of the meter are not recommended. Our flow meters are designed for precise volumetric clean process fluid measurement. Turbine flowmeters work by using the energy of the fluid passing through the meter to move a rotor within the fluid passing through. The rotational speed of the rotor is directly proportional to the velocity of the line fluid and is a true representation of the volume of fluid traveling through the meter. The rotor material is magnetic in nature and the housing is non-magnetic. A magnetic pick-up sensor is positioned as close as possible to the rotor and senses the electrical pulses generated in the spinning rotor.
Hazard Zone Meters: Macnaught MX series flowmeters are available in Explosion Proof Class 1 Division 1 and Intrinsically Safe Class 1 Division 2 versions for accurate, safe measurement of combustible media such as Gasoline, LPG, and other flammables. Approvals: FM, ATEX, IECEx, CE
M-Series Digital Flow Meters: M-Series Flow Meter class consists of Digital Square Body, and CR Chemical Resistant Flow Meter products. The measuring element of an oval gear meter consists of two high-precision splined oval-shaped gears (Rotors). The gears are driven by the flow of the media and mesh together. In the presence of flow, exact known defined volumes of fluid are swept through the meter per each rotor rotation. The number of revolutions is a precise highly accurate measure of the fluid that has passed through the meter. Regardless of viscosity, pressure, or temperature.
Fluid Handling Equipment: Established in 1948 in Sydney Australia, Macnaught pioneered early Fuel, Grease and Oil Transfer equipment in the growing Australian Agriculture, Mining, and General Industry markets
