Description: Magnascope is an ergonomically designed, self-illuminated optical magnifier available at an affordable price. It is the optical eyes of an inspection engineer. It is available in two useful models that include Type 7009 and Type 7010. Type 7009 is a deluxe model having round lens and frame with round 22 W Japanese fluorescent tube and is suitable for table top/bench type laboratory work. Type 7010 is a versatile model having a vice base with clamping facility on the edge of the working table. It also has round lens frame with round Japanese 22 W fluorescent tube. Magnascope Type 7009 consists of a circular solid frame having circular magnifying lens of 120 mm diameter. The lens magnification is 5 X with auxiliary lens. The lens is free from chromatic aberrations. Another unique feature of Magnascope 7009 is its base. It is provided with white Perspex sheet top, which is internally illuminated. This feature is useful for inspection of translucent objects like films in transmitted light and printed circuit boards. Magnascope Type 7010 has the facility of a vice base with clamping facility. This model is ideally suited for clamping the entire magnascope on the edge of the working table of the technician or quality control engineer. The clamping arrangement has a clearance gap of 90 mm maximum travel and is made of rugged construction having rubberised padding facility (gasket type) so that the working table is not damaged while clamping the instrument. Magnascope is designed for industrial inspection on components, parts, moulds, bearings, watch movement and electronic components.
