Description: Plunger type metering pumps are very easy to operate and easy to maintain. The plunger directly comes in contact with the liquid. These pumps have better metering accuracy and are almost independent of backpressure. Flow rate is linear to stroke length variations. Multiple head plunger pumps have common drive for mixing two or more liquids in a desired ratio. The ratio can be easily reset. Liquid heads can be heated by hot water/steam/power to transfer/dose product which are highly viscous at room temperature. External arrangement for flushing the gland packing to increase the pumps' life is possible. The design and performance of PL Series pumps conform to API675. Materials of construction are AISI-304/ 316, alloy-20, hastalloy-B/C, polypropylene, monel, titanium and GFT. A wide range of pumps in capacity up to 10,0001/hr and pressure up to 400-kg/cm2 is available.
