Bladder Accumulators consist of a pressure vessel and an internal elastomeric bladder that contains the gas. The bladder is charged through a gas valve at the top of the accumulator and a poppet valve at the bottom prevents the bladder from being ejected with the outflowing fluid. Bladder accumulator consists of pressure vessel, accumulator bladder and valves for gas & oil inlet. The bladder separates gas and oil.

Blanking plugs are used to seal bulkheads or panels where optional lightning protectors are not installed. Blanking plugs serve to block off the sensor bores where no sensor is used. These plugs are useful for pressure testing the tubing string or to abandon certain zones within a well. Blanking plugs use a removable prong that is inserted into the plug to equalize the pressure across the plug and to complete the fluid seal. Blanking plugs are fitted in the engine intakes & jet pipes and the tail parachute retrieved & stowed for transport. Blanking plugs are fitted to the heater hoses.

Blast Joints are heavy wall tubes, which are run as an integral part of the tubing string. The purpose of a blast joint is to minimize the effect of external erosive action. Blast Joints are heavy wall connectors made up in tubing strings opposite the location where perforations are made in the production casing. These blast joints are commonly used when an oil or gas well are drilled, which encounters two or more producing formations or zones. Blast joints are designed and developed in order to protect the tubing. Blast joints are used as protective devices against tubing damage from the erosive effects of fluids jets from the perforations. Blast joints are placed opposite perforations in multiple string completions or single string multi-zone completions. Bore Hole Stabilizers are special thick walled drill collars subs that are placed in a BHA to force the drill collars to rotate at or near the center of the borehole. Stabilizers have blades or rolling cutters that protrude from the sub wall into the annulus to near the borehole diameter. By keeping the drill collars at or near the center of the borehole the drill bit will drill on a nearly straight course projected by the center axis of the rigid BHA. The blades may be rotating or not. The rotating blades are shop repairable. Non-rotating blades can be repaired at drilling rig location. It is effective in drilling abrasive, hard rock formation. Stabilizers are used extensively to improve the straight hole drill capability of a BHA for both mud drilling operations and for air drilling operations.
