Description: Packings for Sealing Leaky Stuffing Boxes are distributed by Stoplik Services (India) Pvt Ltd. We offer patented synthetic reinforced yarn packings for reliable sealing of leaking stuffing boxes in pumps, reaction vessels, agitators, autoclaves, dryers, filters and other process equipment. Conventional pure PTFE, pure graphite, PTFE/graphite yarns have the inherent characteristic property known as compression set, that is the packing rings remain in the same consolidated compressed form without any recuperation. In many solvent applications such as benzene, para-nitrochloro benzene, polyvinyl acetate, petrol & naptha, PTFE and graphite/PTFE yarn packing ring becomes homogenous & hardens. The packing grabs the shaft resulting in scoring of the sleeve/shaft. Our proprietary packings incorporated PTFE/graphite yarn reinforced with synthetic fibre. In our reinforced yarn packing the reinforced synthetic fibre imparts the property of recuperation, thereby exerting a back pressure on the gland follower. This enables it to work effectively with minimum gland load. The packing does not grab the shaft & does not solidify. Looking at the need for gland packing for severe applications such as slurry & hazardous liquid, fumes applications where no leakage can be tolerated and mechanical seals fails very often, we also develop RYP zero compression packing. This packing works with virtually zero compression and provides absolutely zero leakage in most severe conditions.
