Precision Self-centering Lathe Chucks
Description: Self-centering chucks in semi steel bodies are available with one set of reverse jaws, one operating key and a set of mounting belts. The salient features include a semi steel alloyed body cast with the addition of alloys like chromium, nickel, copper and manganese, jaws of case hardening steel and properly case hardened and tempered for reliability and durability, faces of internal and external jaws ground on both sides and tested for quality and accuracy, scrolls manufactured from carbon steel properly heat treated for quality and durability and pinion gears from solid tough alloy steel having a square recess for operation with the chuck operating key. The key is made of hardened and tempered alloy steel of suitable length.
