Rotary Switches
Description: Rotary Switches are designed for on load switching and the present range covers standard rotary switches up to 100 A/440 V AC, up to 4 poles & 8 position standard operations. It is used for makebreak and isolation of power circuits and switching of auxiliary circuits. It has a stationary and moving contacts that are operated by actuating mechanism to achieve desired switching action. The switch assembly is based on the packet principle giving a choice of multi-position and multi-circuits. It has an insulation resistance of - > 2000 MO, rating - 16, 25, 32, 40, 63 and 100 A/440 V AC. The high voltages test-switches withstand 2.5 kV for one minute. The temperature switches are suitable for use up to 50°C.
