Description: The Koenig Expander plug can withstand working pressures in excess of 7,200 PSI thus enabling it to be used in a wide variety of components such as control valves, pumps and cylinders. Five product series and three installation processes for sealing up fluid passageways are now available to meet the necessary requirements, depending on type of application, degree of automation and design factors: press fit anchorage - in the LP series, a surface-hardened, yet still flexible, conical, cupshaped component is pressed into the bore. As the component is being pressed in, the flexible sleeve adapts to the conical bore and the labyrinth-shaped outer profile anchors itself to the bore wall. LP series: dimensions: ?4 mm to 12 mm; mechanical labyrinth seal; suitable for full automated assembly; and operating pressure up to 60 bar. Originally the Koenig-Expander plug focused on the hydraulics industry.
