Description: Originally the Koenig-Expander plug focused on the hydraulics industry. The Koenig-Expander plug can withstand working pressures in excess of 7,200 PSI thus enabling it to be used in a wide variety of components such as control valves, pumps and cylinders. Five product series and three installation processes for sealing up fluid passageways are now available to meet the necessary requirements, depending on type of application, degree of automation and design factors: press anchorage principle - the concept uses a self-contained ball in a cup shaped sleeve. As the installation force is applied to the ball, the sleeve radially expands and the serration on the outside of the sleeve anchor into the base material. This principle is used for various types from the MB series. MB series: dimensions: ?3 mm to 22 mm; corrosion-resistant design; purely mechanical sealing through forced anchorage; operating pressure up to 450 bar.
