Spherical Roller Bearing's New Generation 'E' Design is optimised with respect to the requirement of achieving maximum dynamic and static load rating, simultaneously ensuring a high frequency of rotation. The great stress has been laid upon attaining high reliability, reduction of power losses and thus a lower heat generation and vibration levels. ZKL Bearings (India) Pvt Ltd designs series of ZKL-bearings in EW33J version, which attain as much as one third higher basic dynamic load rating. The new innovative stage of double-row spherical roller bearings in EW33J version is typical of the following design characteristics, thus differing themselves from the preceding version. It contains a higher number of rolling elements and use longer symmetrically shaped spherical rollers. The separation of the rolling elements is ensured by means of a pressed steel cage with a pair of locks and the inner rings are without the central guiding rib. The internal design is optimised with maximum utilisation of the inner bearing space, thus it utilises good material properties of the bearings. The modification of internal design by removing the central backface rib along with symmetrical shape of spherical rollers reduces power losses within the bearings. This increases the operating speeds of the bearing at optimum temperature.
