Starch Moisture Meter - Model Gmk 330
Description: Starch Moisture Meter (GMK 330) is used to test starch powder. The testing procedure includes the following steps. At first before measurement, hold the lower part of test cell by one hand and turn left the cap (upper part) of it by the other hand. Using a spoon, fill the test cell with starch samples. Turn right the cap of the test cell until pressure-indicator is flush with top of the cap (when pressure-indicator does not come up enough, open the cap and place some more samples into the test cell and tighten it again) watching insert holes carefully, place the test cell into the instrument. To start the measurements press one select button out of three kinds of starch. Press the measuring button, and measurement result appears on LCD. The average data (up to 9 times) is available by pressing average button. The power is switched off by pressing 'average button' one more time. The standard specification of the meter includes the following: measuring ranges - sweet potato 9.5% ~ 21 %;potato 12.5% ~ 23%; corn 13.5% ~ 22%; resolution 0.1 %; accuracy ± 0.5%; display - digital LCD; power source - 1.5 V battery; and dimensions - 164 (L) x 94 (W) x 40 (H) m/m; and weight - approx 700 gm. The standard accessories of the meter include the following: carrying case; spoon; cleaning brush; and battery 1.5V.
