Description: Strong acid cat-ion exchange resin is for water softening and its strongly acidic uni-functional cross linked polystyrene structure contains sulphonic acid groups. It is a high capacity gel type resin with excellent physical and chemical properties specially developed for industrial and domestic water softening applications. The resin is supplied in sodium form and can also be used in demineralisation and other special applications. This is highly resistant to attrition and osmotic shocks and offers minimum pressure drop across the resin bed under a wide variety of operating conditions. Typical applications include high speed industrial softening and also for domestic softening on account of its excellent physical and chemical stability.
