Description: Super critical fluid extraction technology has tremendous capacity to dissolve flavours, fragrances and active ingredients, from medicinal plants and other organic and inorganic materials. The technique has got huge potential for extracting flavours, active material fragrances from bio-materials. The system consists of a CO2 pump up to 400 kg/cm2 pressure, extraction pressure vessels, pressure regulators, refrigeration unit for CO2 gas and gas cylinders. The extraction vessel is made of 3042 SS with pressure rating up to 700 kg/cm2. The volume of pressure vessel can be selected from 250 ml to 10 ltr. Higher volume extraction vessels can also be manufactured as per customer requirement. The cost of the system with 10-ltr extraction vessel is available from Rs 5 lakh onwards. The system can be used for extraction of herbs, flowers, fragrances, spices, oil, natural food colours and natural pesticides. A variety of service for super critical extraction including extraction of material on job basis is available. Services include research of samples of commercial scale production, and developing optimum conditions for extraction.
