Super Turbo Plunge Milling Cutters consist of cutters with diameter measuring1.00-2.50 inch. The cutters have a diameter of 1.00-2.50 inch with a cylindrical/weld-on shank and combimaster heads. Larger diameters are offered for arbour mounting. The maximum depth of the cut is 0.275 inch and the design allows a depth of 0.04 inch in the up-copying direction. The plunging method is ideal in operations with large overhang as the feed rates can be higher compared to side/slot milling without losing stability.
