Description: Sensors have been developed for gas turbine temperature measurement. Applications include bearing temperature measurement, wheel space temperature measurement and exhaust temperature measurement. Thermocouples are 6 to 9 metres long. The design is such that 6″ of hot end sheath is of 1.6 mm dia, while rest of the part has 5 mm dia. Techno Instruments has developed these special swaging methods which reduces the diameter of sensing tip from 5 mm to 1.5 mm. This kind of design is jointless and thus it is more reliable.
