In addition to other well-known advantages, our New Generation Omega HP has a much higher performance profile and is a strong & safe synchronous belt in its performance class. Tests by a neutral agency under severe conditions demonstrate that the Omega HP, in sections 5M & 8M, shows higher strength and ruggedness levels. Critical belt drives require a belt to be electrically conductive. All Omega HPs marketed with the antistatic feature (AS) are first tested individually in accordance with ISO 9563 before being delivered to the customer with the corresponding test certificate. Due to the wide scope of these quality control measures, the Omega HP AS is also ideally suited for use in areas where there is a risk of explosion. Wherever electrostatic discharge presents an ignition hazard, our new product makes for safe operation. The optibelt OHP AS is available in both the 8 M and 14 M profiles.
