Description: IN SPECIAL CERAMIC CRUCIBLES Advanced glass and metal melting in special ceramic crucibles is available today. These special ceramic crucibles are a special product for the special glass and super metal industry made by plasma sputtering technology. The material is 99.9% A12O3. The crucibles have a high thermal shock resistance and they are super strong based on advanced ceramic technology. Plasma sputtering technology provides the following performance: resistance to thermal shock, controlled porosity, gas tightness, stability and precision of the ceramic body without additional processing, high temperature resistance to aluminium slags. Applications of these plasma sputtered crucibles are: as crucible for melting of all metals and alloys without reaction with the crucible material and fusing temperature up to 1,900°C and for special glass industries up to 1,550°C; as funnel, chute, lids and other elements of melting-pouring units (lack of oxidant impregnations in melts are guaranteed); bushing in graphite crucible for melts defence of carburisation: crucibles for casting of jewellers and dental alloys based on Co, Ni, Cr; and as thermal screen and thermo containers in vacuum furnaces and open induction heating. Available in wall thickness of 15 mm; diameter of 400 mm and maximum height of 1250 mm and crucible volume from 0.1 to100 ltr.
