Electric Fibre Heater Panels Up To 1,600°c
Description: Electrical fibre heating panels are used in the special glass industry for melting furnaces (lead crystal and sodalime glass and other special glasses) as roof heaters of feeder fore hearths. These MolyTec panels are specially designed to fulfil the requirements of special glass companies in terms of electric powder (about max 150 kW/m2). Special dimensions and designs are available according to customer request. Material properties: operating temperature - up to 1,600°C max in air atmosphere. The panels are designed of: a) MolyCom - ultra electric heating elements, 1,700°C or 1,800°C; W/Multishank types, typical diameters - 9/18 mm and 12/24 mm; b) Holders (U-anchors) made of MolyComhooks; c) UltraBoard - high alumina fibre boards (1600°C, 400 kg/m3 density); and d) ThermoTube - reinforced with high alumina tubes. Physical and chemical properties of MolyCom, Ultraboards and ThermoTubes: types available - 700 x 500 x 150 mm, 500 x 350 x 125 mm; other sizes available on request, max size is 900 x 600 mm. Installation: The electric fibre heater panels are heated by MolyCom - ultra elements. The panels are manufactured for horizontal use with straight or 90° bent terminals.
