Description: Chip-Resistant High-Temperature Energy Tube is widely used for machine tools, casting plants and steel works. The energy tubes protect the cables and hoses in the machine industries. These are protected from dust, dirt, oil, aggressive environments, moisture, low, or high temperatures. The enclosed energy tubes can be easily and quickly filled, simply by snapping the tube lid open with a screwdriver. Each energy chain link can also be snapped open individually. This means the cables remain easily accessible after being laid into the tube and maintenance and machine downtimes are kept to a minimum, whether it's the machine tool or the woodworking industry. In the past, the size, temperature and number of chips in some applications left behind burn and melt marks. Red hot chips would sometimes melt open the thermoplastic, cling to the energy supply system and burn themselves into the material. This occurred during high-temperature applications in foundry plants and steel mills, for example, and with some machine tools. This problem is avoided by 'igumid HT' that causes hot chips up to 850°C to bounce off the energy supply system.
