Description:
Toothed belt drive is completely maintenance-free, lightweight and used to quickly position small loads. The sliding elements of the almost silent running ZLW drive are manufactured from the polymer iglidur J. The bearings for the guide shafts are manufactured from the material iglidur L 250. The end blocks are made of robust plastic and the profile is hard-anodised aluminium. All connecting screws are made of stainless steel. A second version uses ball bearings for the guide shafts in order to achieve higher linear velocity. With the exception of those ball bearings, this bearing-mounted toothed belt drive is completely maintenance-free, as itrequires no lubrication. DryLin ZLW-06-30 weighs just 1 kilogramme and measures 1 metre in length. This smaller version is well suited to lubrication-free handling of lightweight loads and is almost silent and fast running. Each sector contends with extremely confined installation spaces and needed some simple changes to enable them to position small loads in this cramped space.
