P/I converters are ideal for converting a pneumatic signal to a standardized electrical signal, especially suitable as intermediate elements between pneumatic and electric control and measuring equipment. Most of these converters operate over a wide voltage range (eg. 15 to 30V). These are used as an interface between pneumatic and electric measuring and control devices, for example, for connecting pneumatic transmitter to electrical equipment, such as controllers, computers, or control systems.

P/I Transducers translate process pressure such as steam or other fluids into 4-20 ma current values to be imputed into a control system interface point.
