Open Discharge Safety Valves
Open Discharge Safety Valves are designed to deliver precise unobstructed discharge of overpressure and accurate reseating operations. The valves are used on receivers, pressure vessels, sterilizers, heaters, compressors, pipelines, and thermal systems. These are used to protect from damages caused due to rise in working pressure. This combines a top-guided design, to provide unobstructed seat bore, with floating disc that aligns correctly under all working conditions. The valves are available with nonmetal and metal-to-metal seating surface with different materials of construction that is suitable to the fluid media. The spring is enclosed within the body to reduce the atmospheric effect. The valve covers the ranges of size 1/4″ - 1″, set pressure 15 psig - 3000 psig and temperature -30°C to 250°C. The connections of valves are available as per BSP / NPT / Weld Ends, Flanges etc. These valves are tested and stamped with the set pressure.
