Description:
Diffuse type photoelectric sensor is used for lower ranges where the reflector or two separate mountings are not possible. In diffuse type with background suppression, it is possible to eliminate unwanted light rays from highly reflective backgrounds. Retro reflective types are used where more range is required. In retro type, some sensors are available with the polarisation filter, which will avoid the detection of stray objects. Through beam type is with separate emitter and receiver housings with maximum sensing ranges. Micro sensors are miniature in size and are basically small through beam switches these are used the tape recorders/CD players, printers. NPN open collector, PNP open collector and relay outputs are available from these sensors. Diffuse type is available with external sensitivity adjustment using the potentiometer. Sensors are available from 5 mm to 20-metre sensing ranges. Fork shaped sensors with 30 mm and 50 mm sensing ranges are available. Cylindrical shape optic switches offers maximum mounting comfort with the threaded housing and locknuts. There are 2 types of photoelectric sensors, DC (1 2-24V DC), AC/DC (24-240V AC/DC). The photoelectric sensors from Autonics are with modulated infrared or modulated visible light. The BJ series is a miniature sensor with superior optical characteristics and reliability. This extremely small sensor with IP67 protection can offer sensing ranges of 1 metre for diffuse, 3 m for retro and 15 metres for the through beam types. All sensors are CE approved.
