Description: Rotary Encoders are sensors that are used for measuring rotary parameters like rotational speed and rotation angle. It can also be used for the linear motion detection and length measurement. Autonics provides both incremental as well as absolute type of rotary encoders. The encoders are available in hollow shaft type and solid shaft type with reference to the connectivity with the motor or the reduction gear. We provide encoders with body diameters of 30, 40, and 50 mm solid shaft type; also 40, 80, and 100 mm body diameter for hollow shaft encoders. The absolute encoders are available with BCD, binary and gray code outputs, up to 10-bit resolution. We also provide measuring wheel type encoder and manual pulse generator encoders used for winding machines. The range is up to 3000 PPR for 30 mm encoders, 5000 PPR for 40 mm encoders, 3200 PPR to 80 mm encoders and 10000 PPR for 100 mm encoders. These encoders are widely used in application like: closed loop speed control, stopping motor at right position, deciding X, Y, Z position in CNC machines, detecting the robot arm's angle and position, injection moulding machines in plastic industry, controlling of conveyor speed/ position, elevator car position control, servo motor drives and controlling position of moving crane.
