Description:
Pit Furnaces are widely used for heat treatment and non-ferrous melting at metallurgical laboratories. The melting furnaces can be made tilting type for ease operation. Its category include PHTF for temperature up to 1400°C and PSTF for temperature up to 1800°C. It features rigid construction, fume vent, thyristorised control, removal port at bottom, trolley mounted for easy movement and low skin temperature. The furnace also contain an optional feature, which includes thermocouple at upper, middle & bottom, forced exhaust of fumes by fan, metallic, or ceramic pot and tilting facility. This is used for annealing with charge weight upto 3 tons. It suits any charge shape and size, with electric/oil fired/gas fired heating and special atmosphere like nitrogen, endothermic, methanol, aceton and lpg atmosphere gas.
