Description: Precision Blanking process gives results which are close to fine blanking. Blanking line is equipped with power presses up to 3000 kN (300 tonnes) capacity. Gala offers precision blankings from 0.100 mm to 12 mm thick materials. It has developed tooling technology for shaving off edges for reducing the shear zone up to 20 per cent of material thickness, which is close to fine blanking. We are equipped with in-house tool designing and development with latest CAD software; rapid prototyping; state-of-the-art CNC wire cut machines for achieving surface finish up to 5 microns on cutting elements; competency of manufacturing tools from variety of materials like HSS, carbide, venadis, and powder metallurgy and different types of coatings and treatments for tool elements to increase performance and achieve better edge quality.
