Shackle Lowerators has a hydraulic control that allows complete adjustment of down travel speed. Carriage has roller bearings for smooth operation. There is an automatic gate at the top which controls shackle entry. It accommodates any differential between shackle return rail storage rail. The unit complete with carriage, counter weight, cable and self-contained hydraulic system with separate up and down speed controls.

Shackle Positioners mounted for movement above the pair of advancing rollers in contact with the shackles for guiding poultry into engagement with the advancing rollers. It has a drive for driving the advancing rollers in mutually opposite rotational directions and the shackle positioners above the counter rotating advancing rollers.

Shackle protected padlocks are made up of brass. It works on ball-bearing locking mechanism. The body is constructed from nickel-plated solid brass with a satin finish. It is a triple-plated hardened steel shackle. It provides tough bolt cutter and hacksaw resistance.

Shackle Release Drop Tracks has automatic or controlled operation. The unit has four limit switches, one up, one down and two safeties. One limit switch is mounted on the machine and is closed when the ram is all the way up. The other three are mounted under the conveyor chain and are operated by chain fingers. The chain finger engages the down limit switch in automatic operation. The main drive is stop and start again when the problem is corrected. When manually operated, the three-position hand valve controls up and down positions of the drop track. It features include guide bars with bronze bushed guides, heavy steel frame, ready for connection to plant air supply.
