In a short path evaporator, the condenser is located inside the evaporator body. Due to the different design details, short path evaporators can be used down to 0.001 mbar as compared with conventional thin film evaporators, which can be used down to approximately 1 mbar. Residence time in thin film and short path evaporators is only few seconds, which helps to avoid thermal decomposition of the product. There are several basic design variations of short-path evaporators. These are the short-path falling-film evaporator, the centrifugal molecular still, and the short path, wiped-film evaporator. Short path evaporator integrates the features and advantages of thin film or wiped film evaporators but adds internal condensing for applications where the operating pressures must be between 0.5 mmHg and 0.001 mmHg or less.
Shot Blasting Machine is used to provide the casting with a good surface finish and to remove any interior sand that is still adhering to the casting. The shot blasting machine provides a surface suitable for painting. Shot blasting machine is suitable for shot blasting cast or hot-forged items of small dimensions or die-cast aluminum. Shot blasting machine for shot blasting wire or rod-like material comprises of two centrifuge wheels in a closed housing, which includes an inlet for blasting shot or sand, means for conducting the wire rod material to be blasted through the housing between the centrifuge wheels and an outlet for scale blasted from the wire or rod material. These machines are arranged in line with a drawing machine so that continuous process is provided. The shot-blasting machine is enclosed in a cabin provided with a suction system for sucking the dust and with inlet & outlet prechambers provided with labyrinths & curtains that allow the passage of the rod and meanwhile prevent the outflow of shots.
