Cathodic protection cable is a stranded copper conductor insulated with a high molecular weight polyethylene compound that provides excellent abrasion, crush, chemical, oil, and moisture resistance. It is designed for use in cathodic systems to protect against galvanic and electrolytic corrosion of underground or submerged metallic objects. It is also designed to provide protection by acting as a DC feeder cable to electrically charged metallic structures. It is suitable for direct burial and cold temperature applications.
