Roots pumps are dry running pumps, ideal for industrial processes in which oil-free compression is required to avoid contamination of the pumped media with operating liquids like oil or water. It can be used to evacuate gases and vapors in the fields of coarse and fine vacuum. A rope fitting is ideal for heavy ropes used for securing large ships to single point mooring buoys and the like as a substitute for conventional thimbles. The crown of an eye formed in the rope is fitted with a sheave and both are encapsulated in a suitable material such as urethane plastic thereby forming a plug which can be inserted in a shroud attachable by a cylindrical bore to a shackle by a shackle bolt.

Rope guide is available on 1 to 10 ton monorail hoists. It is to permit side pulling without binding or piling the wire rope on the drum.  Their models feature a specially engineered bronze guide block and extra-deep drum groove. The guide block which follows the drum grooves distributes and the rope evenly at two points for better cable control.
