The optical fiber Bragg gratings is used to create multi-parameter sensors capable of measuring axial and transverse strain in addition to temperature. These sensors determine thermo-optic and photo-elastic parameters for dual Bragg gratings at cryogenic temperatures. It develops and/or evaluates faster lasers for eventual vibration measurements in flight environments.
