Subsea tensioners are designed for subsea use by divers operating in the poorest visibility and most restrictive approach situations. These tensioners allow divers to perform the tensioning process with tools designed specifically for their unique requirements. These tensioners have all the technical and operational advantages of the top side bolt tensioners. These have a minimum number of parts, extra long stroke, and can be easily positioned in poor visual conditions.
Subsea thermal managements are widely used in subsea applications. Thermal insulation materials are playing an important role in the thermal systems design of subsea systems. Analysis tools are used in the design process. System solutions are available for cold spot management such as a connector.
Subsea tree is an assembly of valves, spools and fittings for an oil well. The operation of subsea tree is to both prevent the release of oil or gas from an oil well into the environment and also to direct and control the flow of formation fluids from the well. When the well is ready to produce oil or gas, valves are opened and the release of the formation fluids is allowed through a pipeline leading to a refinery, or to a platform or to a storage vessel. It is also used to control the injection of gas or water injection application on a none-producing well in order to sustain producer volumes.
