Natural gas processing plants are designed to clean raw natural gas by separating impurities and various non-methane hydrocarbons and fluids. These are used to purify the raw natural gas extracted from underground gas fields and brought up to the surface by gas wells. The processed natural gas, used as fuel by residential, commercial and industrial applications, is almost pure methane and is very much different from the raw natural gas. It is also used to recover natural gas liquids and sometimes other substances such as sulfur.
In natural gas rotary screw compressor, the rotary screw gas ends are well suited for natural gas compres-sor applications. All gas compressors are constructed of ferrous metal. No yellow metals are used in the gas end construction. This allows the rotary gas compressor to be used in virtually any natural gas ap-plication.
