Averaging Pilot Tube is designed to meter high velocity flow with simplified installation. Averaging pitot tubes are used for flow measurement of liquids, gases and steam in circular or rectangular pipes or ducts.

Axial flow control valve consists of a valve body. It has a flow passage containing there in a cylinder and an annular sleeve both are held in position by a positioning sleeve. The annular sleeve has a wall member formed with a multi-pores means for providing a number of V-shaped or elongate ports for reducing noise and vibration of fluid flow. A push rod is axially movably disposed within the cylinder, having one end attached with a resiliently biasing means for resiliently engaging a valve piston axially displaceable within the cylinder and the annular sleeve for controlling fluid flow. The positioning sleeve is formed with a truncated conical valve seat to associate with the valve piston for sealingly occluding fluid flow. O-rings made of resiliently metallic or ceramic material are disposed on the valve piston and/or the push rod for sealing the axially movable elements, so that the valve can be used in a high-temperature environment.

Back Ferrule is used to reduce extrusion. Back ferrule locks on the outside diameter of the tube to complete the sealing action and secure the tube within the fitting. Back ferrule is designed to help compensate for exposure to system variables such as vibration, pressure pulsation and thermal expansion/contraction. Back ferrule is designed to rotate with the nut instead of the lower ferrule, which gets swaged on. This helps reduce torque & twisting action on the tube and/or lower ferrule that actually does the sealing.

Backpressure regulating valves are self-operated steam pressure regulator, which is mounted in the steam outlet line from the steam generator. The valve taps its actuating energy directly from the steam itself and ensures that a minimum upstream pressure is maintained. If the upstream pressure falls below the set point the valve will starts to close until the minimum desired pressure is achieved.

Back Pressure Regulator is used to control the upstream of pressure in a fuel cell test system, while allowing gases to flow through a diaphragm. The diaphragm operates like a sensitive adjustable relief valve. Back pressure regulators work up to a 200° C environment with a control pressure of 0 to 50psig and have a flow capacity of 0.3Cu. Back pressure regulators are used to prevent over pressurization of storage vessels, compressors and pumping systems.

Baffle Retainer is in the form of a U-shaped metal strap. It is mounted on the inlet chamber wall and extends across the path of the fluid entering the inlet chamber from the inlet tube. The top portion of the U-shaped strap extends across the inlet chamber to a point adjacent to the side of the filter disc.

Bag House Pressure Sensor is designed to detect the pressure difference between the dirty and clean sides of a bag house or dust collector.

Barograph Charts are held on to the clock either by a clamp bar or a gummed, perforated removal strip. These charts are calibrated in inches of mercury (28″ / 31″) or in millibars (950mb/1050mb). These barograph charts are positively located by sprockets and cannot have a baseline drawn on them.

Barologger is known as levellogger with a small range of 1.5 m adequate to monitor the fluctuations that occur in barometric pressure. The barologger's readings are used to barometrically compensate levelogger readings. Typically, barologger readings range from 1 - 3.3 ft (30 - 100 cm) when the barologger is programmed with its operating altitude. Failure to input, the correct altitude with result in incorrect readings and may cause the pressure transducer to go out of range. It is strongly recommended that the altitude input be accurate to 10 m. When the barologger is programmed at its operating altitude, its readings can be used to directly compensate for barometric pressure, the readings of any levelogger programmed at the levelogger's operating altitude. As a rule or thumb, a barologger can be used to compensate all the leveloggers in a 20-mile (30 km) radius.

Barometric Compensated Draw-off Systems is a fully automatic hand off, draw-off system. It indicates true syrup draw-off temperatures. The true syrup draw-off temperature automatically changes with barometric pressure changes.

Batch Controller is a module of the control system, which is used for controlling discontinuous or nonstandard process. It contains the hardware necessary to receive analogue, digital and counter inputs from field devices, perform control computations according to the assigned algorithm and control sequences. It provides the resulting analogue and digital outputs to the field devices.
