Barge loading unit consists of a vertically disposed support tower arranged between a couple of barges. A boom is rotatably mounted on the support tower and extends outwardly. A vertically disposed telescopic spout extends downwardly from the outer end of the boom. A conveyor is provided on the support tower and the boom for supplying grain to the upper end of the spout for delivery to one of the barges.

Barrel clamp consists of a lifting device used for lifting plastic drums and barrels. The lifting device uses a locking bar. This bar is capable of locking the device in open positions preparatory for securing the barrel and lifting position. It maintains locked positions. It uses a minimal amount of friction force to lift a barrel such that the fragile resilient sides of a plastic barrel are not damaged.

Base mounted hoists have longer lifts.
