Gripper Bar are made from extruded aluminum and hinge together for their entire length for greater stiffness. Two or three spring clips provide a bias for closing the bar. The clips are assembled into grooves in the upper and lower portions so that no additional parts are required to maintain the gripper bar parts in their proper positions.
