Plunger Bars include an insulated sleeve to protect from electric shock and fitted piston rod to facilitate easy penetration of dry ground and bitumen surfaces. The plunger bar is ideal for a number of applications including test holes for water or gas leak detection, sub-soil determination, tree feeding and temporary earth rods. Plunger bars are used to create holes in soil & concrete.
Plunger Lift is a method for lifting oil. Compressed gas is used to drive a free piston, which brings the oil from the lower end of the tubing string to the surface. This system contains a complete range of compatible components. The components are plungers, bumper springs, lubricators, controllers and accessories. They operate in tubing, lifting fluids by velocity. The plunger seal and velocity are key considerations for plunger-lift systems. The velocity ranges from 600 to 900 feet per minute. The tubing is set between the middle and top of the perforations. The controlled plunger systems measure travel time and make adjustments. This reduces the amount of operator time required to line out a system and optimize run time.
