A pneumatic muffler is used to reduce equipment noise considerably and, in some instances, completely eliminate the need to wear earplugs. This muffler is a polymer housing with a replaceable acoustic composite insert, which is designed to effectively quiet the exhaust air on air-operated equipment. It's also porous to air and fluids, helping to minimize backpressure. A threaded cap screws on to retain the insert and seal in sound, making replacement quick and easy. And because the muffler features a disposable core, there is no cleaning the core insert with solvents.
