Rotary mixing apparatus is suitable for treatment of foundry sand. The foundry sand having a drum mounted for rotation about an axis which is horizontal. They operate to treat bulk material such as foundry sand which is placed within the rotating drum. The stationary deflection apparatus is arranged within the drum in the upper range and a rotating impact rotor is mounted within the drum.

Horizontal overhung balancing machines are used for both single and two plane balancing. The configuration supports work pieces on a built-in spindle. Unbalance corrections are displayed on the first spin of a new part. The applications of these machines include blowers, fans, propellers and turbine components.
