Confined space plan is one of the hazard controls in the confined space program. The confined space plan provides material for continuing employee training of selected persons to carry out confined space work.

Confined space rescue is a subset of technical rescue that involves the rescue and recovery of victims involved in situations where there is a confined space such underground vaults, storage silos, storage tanks, or sewers. Confined spaces are often narrow and constricting preventing easy access by rescuers. There are three categories of confined space rescue: self-rescue, non-entry rescue and entry rescue.

Signs are required at each entry into confined spaces, such as deep pits or underground storages. It may be made of metal or a durable synthetic material. The size of the sign will depend on the individual situation.

Conical blender is a mixing device, which is used for blending or pre-blending of solid thermoplastic materials with their additives. It is used for mixing and blending of free-flowing dry materials. This type of blender uses a cone-shaped container to improve the folding and spreading action, which is desired. Conical blender used for large batches are usually fabricated so that they are of one-piece construction and access is by means of hatches located at each end of the double-cone.
