Cylinder Liner is a cylindrical part, which is fitted into an engine block to form a cylinder. It is one of the most important functional parts to make up the interior of an engine. The cylinder liner receives combustion heat through the piston & piston rings and transmits the heat to the coolant. The cylinder liner prevents the compressed gas and combustion gas from escaping outside.

Cylinder Mould consists of a shaft on which number of flanges or spiders are assembled and support the copper wire mesh or fine bamboo mesh, which covers the surface of the cylinder. Cylinder mould formers are available for operating speeds up to 280 m/min.
