Regenerative blowers are the ideal solution for moving large volumes of air at lower pressures or vacuums. It operates on the principle that has been described as viscous drag turbine pumping, forced ring-vortexing, and centrifugal spiraling. These are also called side channel blowers or ring compressors, terms that refer more to their physical construction. These are low-pressure, high-volume blowers that generates centrifugal airflow. They are used in compression blowers, vacuum blowers, and industrial blower applications.

Regenerative Heat Recovery Systems use ceramic media to collect and store energy. Regenerative heat recovery systems are capable of recovering up to 97% of the energy used in the oxidation process.

Regenerative pumps employs a combination of mechanical impulse and centrifugal force to produce heads of several hundred feet at low volumes, usually less than 100 gal/min. the impeller, which rotates at high speed with small clearances, has many short radial passages milled on each side at the periphery. These pumps are particularly useful when low volumes of low-viscosity liquids must be handled at higher pressures than are normally available with centrifugal pumps.

Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers use ceramic beds to absorb heat from the exhaust gas and use the captured heat to preheat the incoming process gas stream. These streams are typically produced by processes requiring ventilation, such as paint booths, printing and paper mills. They are suited to applications with low VOC concentrations but high waste stream flow rates. This is due to their high thermal energy recovery. The basic operation of an RTO consists of passing a hot gas stream over a heat sink material in one direction and recovering that heat by passing a cold gas stream through that same heat sink material in an alternate cycle. They are used to destroy air toxics and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are discharged in industrial process exhausts.

Regenerative wet scrubbing systems are used for the removal and recovery of SO2 from flue gas and process gas flows at petroleum refineries, metallurgical plants, power generation facilities and industrial plants. It reduces discharge of dissolved salts since buffer is regenerated.
