Arc Magnets are applicable to DC motors such as power antennas, fuel pump motors, rear windshield wipe motors, power curtains, blower motors, power seat motors and power window regulator motors. Arc magnets are glued to a magnet tube using an epoxy adhesive.

Arc Segment Magnets is used in permanent magnet d.c. motors for applications like wiper motors, blower motors, fan motors, window winders and starters. It is also used in two-wheeler for starter motors and permanent magnet based flywheel magnetos.

Bar magnet is an object that has a magnetic field. They have distinct North & South poles. They are not very strong but that makes them ideal for showing magnetic field lines when used with iron filings. If they were much stronger, the filings would clump & not show anything useful.
