Direct / indirect fired calciner is used for heat treatment of powders or granular solids by direct or indirect fired horizontal rotary calcining drums designed for operating temperatures up to 1,500°C. Direct fired calciner has refractory lined carbon steel drums with tyres and drive ring. Indirect fired calciner has special alloy steel drums rotating in high temperature refractory fined surface casings.
Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valves operate with either a flat diaphragm or convoluted bellows. It is the smallest and most economical of the three types of PRVs and is designed for low to moderate flows. Accuracy of direct-acting PRVs is typically +/- 10%. Direct-acting pressure reducing valves are generally angle-type valves.
