Direct drive agitators offer a special design feature of no gearbox for direct mounting, and require no beating inside of the vessel to ensure a hygienic execution. These agitators have a rotating coupling for injection of additives under the liquid level through the tubular agitator shaft. Agitators are used for lending/mixing, homogenizing, heat transfer, dissolving, emulsifying, and dispersion applications.

C-clamp mount direct drive mixer for mixing heavy viscous liquids in vessels up to 800 gallons and light viscosities in vessels up to 1200 gallons. The air drive speed range is 0-2800 rpm and stainless shaft is 1″ x 36″ long.

Direct drive flange mount mixers are ideal for the agitation of thinner liquids or smaller volumes of material contained in unsealed vessels. They include a cord in totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) models. It is a plug and switch method. The variable-speed electric models have a pre-wired controller mounted to the mixer.
